Overview
The recreated Tribal huts at the Odisha State Tribal Museum house several artefacts of daily use that are also wonderful expressions of tribal creativity. To generate appreciation for these artefacts and encourage visitors to learn about them by exploration, Myth created the ‘Talking Artefacts’ interactive. Innovating with existing electronics; we created a system in which allows visitors to interact with the artefacts without touching them; and listen to the stories the ‘artefacts’ narrate about themselves, their peers, their owners and how they live or have been made. Each artifact has been assigned an age and gender; with multiple voices and ambient sound effects being used to captivate the audience and keep them engaged as each ‘artefct’ story is told.
