Overview
The Similipal Tiger Reserve is Odisha’s foremost wildlife sanctuary, with many tribal communities are settled in and around this reserve forest. “Bounties of Similipal” presents the sustainable life of these tribal communities, celebrating their continued co-existence with the rich and diverse flora and fauna of the Similipal.
This dynamic non-linear interactive projection wall comprises an expansive physical artwork, covering approximately 18 feet by 5 feet of wall space within the designated space at the Nature Education & Interpretation Centre, Gurguria. Visitors are able to touch designated touch points on the wall, thereby triggering the projection system that projects digital content on the wall. Through playful interactions, the visitor thus learn about the indigenous knowledge, cultural practices, beliefs and traditions of these tribal communities that have ensured that they continue to live sustainably in these forests, with least impact to the ecology of this region.
