Overview
“Mahatma Gandhi in Odisha” is an interactive projection map that informs visitors about the visits Gandhiji made to Odisha, and his love of the region. Visitors learn about the speeches given by the Mahatma while in Odisha, and the important activities he initiated or supported while visiting the region during India’s Struggle for Independence.

This dynamic non-linear interactive projection wall comprises an expansive physical artwork, covering approximately 8 feet by 4 feet of wall space within the designated Mahatama Gandhi Gallery at the Odisha State Museum. The artwork seamlessly intertwines with an array of captivating digital multimedia content. Visitors can interact with this installation by touching designated touch points, setting in motion the projection system that plots the visits of the Mahatma, on foot, by road or rail across Odisha in English and Odia.
