“Sangram: The Freedom Struggle in Odisha” is an interactive projection wall that encourages visitors to delve into the pivotal events of the freedom struggle in Odisha from 1877 to 1949, spotlighting the invaluable contributions of Odisha’s freedom fighters in the fight against colonial oppression.
This dynamic non-linear interactive projection wall comprises an expansive physical artwork, covering approximately 8 feet by 4 feet of wall space within the designated Freedom Fighters Gallery at the Odisha State Museum. The artwork seamlessly intertwines with an array of captivating digital multimedia content. Visitors can interact with this installation by touching designated touch points along a timeline segment of the artwork, setting in motion the projection system that displays a rich tapestry of multimedia content, pertaining to each year on the timeline in one of three languages: English, Hindi or Odia.
